This brief and simple guide shows you how to remove and replace the battery on a Toyota Rav 4. First, open the bonnet and start by removing the plastic cover found at the top left, taking out the various clips. Then disconnect both battery terminals (positive and negative) by unscrewing the bolts with a 10 mm spanner. Next, remove the two central nuts from the bracket, lifting and extracting the battery; finally, replace it with a new one of the correct type and with the same amperage!
