How to Replace the Fuel Filter on the Toyota Corolla Mk3

This guide shows how to replace the fuel filter on the Toyota Corolla Mk3. After lifting the rear seat cushion in the cabin, you can access the fuel pump housing. Lift the protective cover and disconnect the electrical connector. Clean the area and detach the fuel lines by acting on their respective locks. At this point, using a socket or screwdriver, unscrew the locking ring of the pump and extract the pickup piece, being careful to let the fluid drain. From the fuel pump, disconnect the electrical connectors and the pickup piece, and remove the filter cover. Install the seals and spacers from the old pump onto the new kit and reassemble everything in position. Check the correct operation of the pump before hitting the road.
