Start by inserting the key and turning on the instrument panel; there is no need to start the engine. Then, repeatedly press the "ODO/TRIP" button until you reach the mileage reading called "Trip A". At this point, turn off the ignition and turn it back on while holding the same button, releasing it once the series of zeros appears.
