To replace the front shock absorber on a Toyota Rav 4, lift the car so that the corresponding wheel is off the ground. Next, open the bonnet to access the engine bay and loosen the bolts securing the shock absorber from the top. Now, you can remove the bolts securing the wheel and also loosen the bolts securing the shock absorber from the bottom, near the wishbone. This will allow you to remove the shock absorber and replace it with a new spare part, also reinstalling the corresponding wheel.
