How to Replace the Battery in a Toyota RAV4

Model: Toyota Rav 4 Xa50, MK 5 - Years 2019-2026

Before proceeding with the battery replacement, remember to wear rubber gloves and preferably safety glasses. Once you have taken the necessary precautions and turned off the engine, lift the front bonnet and locate the battery. Using a 10 mm spanner, loosen the bolt securing the negative terminal and remove it. Then do the same with the positive terminal. At this point, also remove the plastic block by unscrewing the screws present, and finally, lift out the battery. Replace it with a new model and then reconnect the two terminals correctly. Refit the safety block and close the bonnet.
