Underbody Inspection Instructions

Checking the underbody of your car can be very useful, especially for vehicles that drive on snowy roads during winter, where salt is spread, which can cause corrosion. Once the vehicle is lifted on the ramp, check the condition of the rubber components for any signs of cracking. Ensure there are no oil leaks from the bottom of the engine and/or gearbox. Check the integrity of the exhaust pipe and the sensors connected to it. Generally inspect the state of oxidation of the bodywork, the mounts, and the suspension. Assess whether it is appropriate to wash the underbody and possibly apply a protective treatment.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y

To open the bonnet on this vehicle, follow these simple instructions: first, open the driver's door and locate the lever positioned just below the dashboard, marked with an image of the vehicle with the bonnet open.
