To replace the serpentine belt on a Toyota Fortuner, open the hood to access the components on the right side of the engine block. Here, you will find the pulleys around which the serpentine belt is arranged. By loosening the nut that secures the tensioner pulley, you can reduce the tension and completely remove the belt from its housing. At this point, position the new belt around the pulleys and secure it with the central nut and bolt. This way, you can start the engine and check that everything functions correctly.
