How to Replace the Front Brake Pads on a Toyota 4Runner [USA]

Model: Toyota 4runner N280 - Years 2010-2024

After removing the wheel, locate the brake caliper and its pads. At the back of the caliper assembly, there are clips securing the threaded rods. Disconnect the clips and remove the two threaded rods. To facilitate the removal of the pad, use a clamp to loosen the pad and detach it from the caliper. Pull outward to extract the pad and repeat the same steps to remove the other pad. Take the new friction pads and position them in place. Reinsert the threaded rods and reposition the securing clips on the back.
