In this tutorial, see how to replace the thermostat in a Toyota Yaris, a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, wait for the engine to cool completely to operate safely. Start by opening the bonnet, then disconnect the indicated hose by loosening the clip of the respective clamp. Once done, remove the two bolts securing the thermostat with a socket spanner, separate it from the engine, and following the reverse procedure, fit the replacement. Finally, since you will have lost some coolant during the operation, top it up.
