To replace the stabilizer bar links in a Toyota RAV 4 II: Get into the vehicle, turn off the car and apply the handbrake. Loosen the wheel bolts, lift the car with a hydraulic jack and place safety stands under the car; continue unscrewing the bolts and then remove the wheel. Clean the stabilizer link fastener (uses WD-40 spray); remove the cross stabilizer link. Fit new cross stabilizer link, (screw in using a 14 bit socket). Clean the mounting seat of the wheel rims. Refit the wheel and then lower the vehicle to the ground.
