How to Repair a Stuck Rear Door on the Toyota Estima

How to solve the problem of an electric door on an Estima Tarago that is stuck: we see that it does not open with the remote. To work on the lock, you need to remove the inner door panel, which is held by only two screws. A 25 mm wrench is required, and while working in a tight space, you can remove them. At that point, the panel comes off relatively easily, exposing the electrical components. Remove the window seal to access the actual mechanism with a curved tool (ideally a Tunisian hook) to get into the door cavity and unlock the mechanism. If you can't do it, open the door from the outside with a 30 mm wrench and extract the mechanism, which you can replace (costs about $25 on major e-commerce platforms) or repair if the issue is minor. Now, just reassemble everything and check with the remote that everything is working properly.
