All you need to correctly replace the button battery in your Toyota Prius key is a standard flathead screwdriver. Let's go through the necessary steps.

First, locate the "Push" button on the side of the cover and press it to easily remove the physical emergency key contained within. Then, using the same key, open the cover.

At this point, use the flathead screwdriver to open the battery compartment and proceed to replace the battery. Refit the cover, and you are done.
