Operation: How to program a new key for Toyota Highlander?

If we still have a functioning key for our Toyota Highlander, we can program a new one without having to spend money at the dealership. We enter the car and leave the driver's door open, insert and remove the key twice, and close and open the door twice. We repeat these two steps, but this time the key is inserted and removed only once instead of twice. Now we insert the key again, close the door, and turn on the ignition, turn it off, and remove the key. On the new key, we hold down the door lock and unlock button for 1.5 seconds (simultaneously), and then only the lock button. The programming is complete.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
