How to Replace the Battery of a Toyota Aygo

This video tutorial shows how to replace the battery of a Toyota Aygo. First, get inside the vehicle and pull the bonnet release lever; then lift the bonnet and secure it in place using the prop rod. The battery is located on the right side of the engine; using a 10mm socket, loosen the fastening nut of the negative terminal and disconnect it. Next, repeat the same operation with the positive terminal. Now, using a 13mm socket with an extension, remove the bolt securing the battery support plate and proceed to remove the battery. Before inserting the new battery, apply copper grease to the terminals to improve contact and limit oxidation. Insert the new battery, secure it to the support, and finally connect the terminals, remembering to connect the positive terminal first and then the negative.
