How to Replace the Key Battery in a Toyota Auris

To replace the battery in the remote key of a Toyota Auris, first, remove the metal key contained within the casing. Press the button located on the side of the remote, which will allow you to extract the key. Now, use the tip of the same key to open the casing; insert the tip of the key into the groove on the top edge of the casing (short side) and lever it to open. You will now have access to the battery compartment; remove the cover and proceed to extract and replace the battery. The required battery model is a flat CR 2032 3V.
