How to Install Cruise Control on a Toyota Yaris Without Factory Fitting

Model: Toyota Yaris Xp130 - Years 2011-2019

To install this accessory, the vehicle must have the necessary pre-installation, but all XP130 models have it. You will need 2 screwdrivers, 1 flat-head and 1 Phillips. First, disconnect the negative terminal from the battery. This is to prevent any issues with the airbag. Take the flat-head screwdriver. Under the steering wheel, there is a hole; insert the screwdriver to find the resistance of a spring and release the airbag module. To fully remove it, gently rotate it left and right until it disengages. Now insert the cruise control. On the right, you will find the cruise lever. Remove the cover, then install from the inside out, taking care not to disturb the already connected cables. Route the cables to the other side, tighten the two screws, and connect the cable to the electrical connector. After completing these steps, reinsert the airbag into its place, tighten its screw, and reconnect the negative terminal. Operation complete.
