How to replace the gear knob on the Toyota Corolla?

Model: Toyota Corolla MK 4, E170, E160 - Years 2013-2019

To remove the gear knob from the Toyota Corolla, grasp the old knob so that it can be removed from the top of the corresponding lever; once it is detached, use a tool to pry off the clips located at the base of the leather cover. When both parts have been removed, reposition the cover around the lever so that it clips onto the underlying clips; finally, reposition the gear knob on top.
