Operation: How to replace the rear shock absorbers.

Place the car on a bridge and raise it to a comfortable height to work on it. Remove the rear wheel corresponding to the shock absorber we want to replace. Lift the wheel rim with a hydraulic jack to remove tension from the shock absorber. Open the luggage compartment and lower the rear seat and move the small rear shelf. Remove the wall covering corresponding to the shock absorber side. Unscrew the shock absorber head using suitable wrenches. Now unscrew the bolt that connects the shock absorber to the wheel. At this point we can extract the old shock absorber and replace it with the new one. Repeat all the above operations but in the opposite direction to reassemble all the pieces. The maintenance operation that is performed in the images is carried out on a Toyota Aygo.
