In the Toyota Prius, the boot may become stuck, possibly due to a problem with the release button or the lock actuator. In such cases, you can perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial.

First, open the rear doors, then lower the rear seat by operating the respective levers. Next, go inside the boot, remove the small cover indicated, and using a screwdriver, manually operate the lock.

The boot will now be free to open.
