In this tutorial, you will learn how to deactivate the passenger airbag in a Toyota Auris, a very simple and quick operation that must be done when installing a rear-facing child seat. First, remove the key from the ignition cylinder, then go to the passenger side, open the door, and locate the switch on the side panel of the dashboard.

Next, insert the key into the switch, turn it clockwise, and set the selector to the "Off" position. To reactivate the airbag, simply follow the reverse procedure.
