First, enter the cabin, then grip the knob, rotate it forcefully anti-clockwise, and unscrew it from the shaft. If necessary, wrap the knob with a cloth and grip it with pliers for better leverage. Next, insert the replacement and screw it in until it aligns perfectly with the direction of travel of the vehicle. If you also need to replace the gaiter, simply detach it from the base.
