- Years 2005-2011 In order to adjust the clutch pedal of the Toyota Yaris, you need to locate the mechanism that operates the clutch master cylinder: this is positioned at the rear of the clutch pedal itself. Once you have located the mechanism, you will also be able to identify the bolt that allows you to adjust the intensity of the clutch: tightening this bolt will make the clutch pedal feel firmer. Conversely, you can make it softer by loosening the bolt; you will need to tighten or loosen the bolt according to your needs.
