How to Reset the Trip Meter on a Toyota Prius?

To reset the trip meter on a Toyota Prius, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Look for the "ODO TRIP" button located on the left side of the dashboard.

Press the "ODO TRIP" button repeatedly until the trip meter you wish to reset appears, usually indicated as "TRIP A" or "TRIP B". Once the correct trip meter is displayed, press and hold the "ODO TRIP" button until the counter resets and shows "0.0". This confirms that the trip meter has been successfully reset.

You can now release the button, and the trip meter will start recording the distance travelled from zero.
