Modes and hidden functions in the Toyota smart remote control

In this video, we see some hidden modes and functions of the Toyota smart remote control. The remote emits audible signals when approaching the vehicle, even when wearing gloves. By pressing the lock and unlock buttons together for a few seconds, all doors will unlock at once. If a door is slightly ajar, pressing the button will result in a continuous audible signal indicating this anomaly. If a key is left inside, the vehicle will not lock and will emit a continuous sound to alert you of the anomaly. Inside the key fob, there is an emergency key that can be released by pressing the button with a key symbol. This key is used to open the driver's door in case of emergency, or the rear hatch; turning it to the right will open the windows and sunroof. Turning it in the opposite direction will close these components. If the remote control battery is low, it is still possible to start the vehicle in an emergency by holding the remote against the start button. There is also a battery saving mode: by pressing both buttons, the device will not emit or receive signals until the buttons are pressed. It is also possible to tune the remote to the driver's seat position that is normally used: very useful if the vehicle is shared. There are other functions that need to be set in the infotainment system, such as how long the car will remain open before the doors automatically lock.
