To dismantle the Garelli SSXL engine, you need to loosen the screws that secure the block to its housing, located in the central part of the frame: once the screws of the respective supports are loosened and the connectors attached to the engine are disconnected, you can remove the engine from its seat and then open it by unscrewing the screws that secure the cylinder. The cylinder can now be pulled out from its seat, and the piston can be detached from the connecting rod by removing the pin and the ring. The connecting rod can also be removed, giving access to the crankshaft and all components contained within the engine.
