These engines are subject to wear of the belt over time, which is located inside the oil sump.

With time and the high temperatures that occur inside, it tends to deteriorate and shed small pieces of rubber that clog the filter mesh, causing poor lubrication of the engine. You can avoid this problem primarily through proper maintenance, performing regular oil changes and always using quality oil according to the manufacturer's specifications, and periodically visually inspecting the belt through the filler cap. There is also a specific tool with which you can measure the thickness of the belt, an important datum for determining its condition.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?
