Why doesn't the keychain work after replacing the battery?

In this video we see why the car remote may not work even after changing the battery. First of all, there may be something wrong with the remote itself: for example, the buttons may wear out or become loose, especially if they are made of rubber, and in this case they can be removed and cleaned and then put back in place. Another reason could be the battery connectors, a problem not visible from the outside, so the remote will have to be disassembled and checked: the connectors may have moved or been damaged. But the problem could also be the connection with the car, so the association with the car has been lost. How to reconnect the remote to the car? Get in the car and close the door, insert the key and turn on the ignition; turn it several times until you hear an audible signal that alerts you that the remote has been reconnected. You can also use another method by getting in the car and manually opening the door, insert the key and turn it 6 times in 10 seconds: the external lights should flash, turn the key again, press one of the buttons and if the procedure was successful the emergency lights should flash, but test the remote to see if everything is okay. If none of these methods work, you will need to contact a specialized workshop.
