How and how much to tighten the wheel nuts

A question that we often ask ourselves when it is time to change a flat tire, or when it is time to change from winter to summer tires (or vice versa), is: when should I tighten the wheel nuts to ensure they are securely fastened? First of all, they must be hand-tightened, and then tightened with a pneumatic wrench - if we have one available - many of which are specifically designed for this purpose; in any case, we never tighten them to death. Remember that when we do this operation, the car should never be resting on the ground. To conclude, we tighten the nuts with a torque wrench, and here the difference lies in the size and taper of the screw: there are tables that can be easily found online. In the example of the video, we can tighten to 110Nm, always following an "X" pattern.
