In this video, we can see how to deactivate the OUT mode on a digital tachograph. What is the OUT mode? If the vehicle is being moved in a private area, the driver must insert their smartcard and set the tachograph status to OUT; this also applies if the vehicle is being moved by a third party (such as a construction worker or mechanic) but with their own smartcard, also in the OUT status. Let's see how to deactivate this mode: press the "ok" button and scroll down with the arrows until you find the "vehicle entry" mode and confirm with "ok". At this point, simply press "ok" again to deactivate the OUT mode; then press the left arrow to exit the menu and press "ok" again.
