How to revise the noisy gearbox of a Microcar

In this video we see how to overhaul the gearbox of a Microcar Casalini - but the procedure is the same for all gearboxes of these small cars - which also leaks oil: in fact, all the oil seals must be replaced, as well as the bearings. It is an operation that must be done on a workbench, so we have to remove the gearbox block from the car, then open it and remove the internal gears, in order to be able to remove the bearings which are the 6205-c (1 piece), the 6204 and the 6206 (both two pieces) and the 6304 (1 piece); we clean all the gears well, remove the oil seals, clean the cup and then reassemble everything. We position the RPM sensor and then put the gasket on using the paste. We put on the cover and bolt it on; we reposition the flywheel and we can reassemble.
