The cleaning of the Egr valve can be done with specific products to be applied as explained here, that is, a cleaning spray should be sprayed several times at the throttle body inlet, while a second product, always from the same brand, should be poured directly into the fuel tank, making sure that there is at least half of the latter full. Then the engine is started and brought, repeatedly interspersed, between 1000 and 2000 rpm.
