In order to clean the EGR valve of the 1.5 DCi engine, you need to open the hood so that you can access the components located inside the engine compartment: here you will be able to locate the EGR valve positioned between the exhaust manifold and the remaining part of the duct. You will need to loosen the screws that hold it in place and disconnect the connectors related to its sensors: this way you will be able to clean it with the appropriate products so that you can reinstall it after cleaning. At this point, you will need to verify that everything is functioning correctly after installation.
