How to Remove the EGR Valve from the Car

How do you remove the EGR valve from your car? Remove the valve to change or clean it. Unscrew the locking pins of the ventilation pipe, and remove the engine soundproofing panel for better access. Unscrew the fastening screws of the EGR valve (if you encounter issues: lift the car with a jack and proceed to remove the part from underneath). Once the part is removed from its seat, unscrew the screws on it with a screwdriver. After removing the valve, clean it using a suitable product for cleaning mechanical parts: use a brush to assist with the task. Reassemble everything after cleaning. If the part is damaged, install a new one.
