How do we remove the EGR valve from our car? We disassemble the valve to change or clean it. We unscrew the locking pins of the ventilation pipe, remove the soundproofing panel of the engine to work better. We unscrew the EGR valve tightening screws (if we have problems: lift the car with a jack and remove the piece from below). Once the piece has been disassembled from its seat, let's unscrew the screws on it with a screwdriver. Once the valve has been removed, let's clean the valve with the help of a product suitable for cleaning mechanical parts: we use a brush to make operations easier. We reassemble everything after cleaning. If the piece is damaged, let's go and assemble a new one.

Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD gearbox oil replacement

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
