Cleaning the Car's EGR Valve

Does the EGR valve need to be removed and cleaned? Here’s how to do it. Lift the bonnet and secure it, then use a screwdriver to unscrew the locking pins of the ventilation pipe and remove it from the engine bay. Start spraying the cleaning fluid from the can into the ventilation pipe (repeat this several times). After removing the EGR valve, disassemble it into all its parts. Enhance the cleaning of the valve using a suitable product to flush through the tank. Once cleaned, reinstall the ventilation pipe in the engine bay after cleaning it of any dirt and deposits. Refit the EGR valve in the engine bay.
