In this video, we are given all the indications to pass the state inspection regarding headlights without any problems. We must do it with a headlight tester, and both the vehicle and the headlight tester must be on a horizontal plane. Headlights perform 4 different functions: they indicate the size of the vehicle, the intention to turn, they illuminate the road in depth with low beams and with greater depth through high beams. These last two functionalities are the ones evaluated by the headlight tester, where there are lines and sensors that will assess the shape of the two headlights, which must be like the beams illustrated in the video, and according to certain legal parameters. The headlight test may not be passed due to a burnt out bulb, or because it may produce light incorrectly. Pay close attention to the bulbs you install: if your vehicle requires the installation of H7 bulbs and instead you have installed Xenon or LED bulbs, the light beam will not correspond to the parameters of the headlight tester, giving a negative result.
