In this video, one obvious thing is highlighted, namely that these microcars do not have any type of airbag as standard equipment. In fact, we see the YouTuber removing the central part of the steering wheel with his hands, and there is no electrical contact inside that could provide power to anything.

This applies to most microcars in this category, including Aixam, Microcar, etc.; this is because they are classified as quadricycles, not as cars, and therefore are subject to less stringent safety regulations. So, these microvehicles only have the advantage of not getting our kids' heads wet; but for many reasons, it is preferable to have them travel on a scooter; at least they will have a helmet on their heads.
