This is a specialised procedure: it is a guide to disassemble a diesel injection pump (Bosch V.E. type) for refurbishment. However, this is not a garage job; it requires a well-equipped workshop and expensive special tools (support kit, pump testing equipment, comparators).

The procedure, which is hyper-detailed in the video, follows this logical path: secure the pump on a special support; disassemble all regulators (centrifugal, solenoid, wax actuator); disassemble the distribution head and the delivery valves; extract the central plunger and the adjustment levers; disassemble the camshaft and the phase variator; disassemble the internal feed pump (vane type).

The ultimate goal is to strip the pump completely for inspection, replace worn parts, and adjust on the bench.

It is a very complex operation due to micrometric tolerances: the parts work with thicknesses of tenths of a millimetre; even a bit of dust or a scratch can ruin it. Every component affects the assembly order, which is crucial to avoid damaging anything.
