How to test a car relay with a multimeter

The relay, like the fuse, is an electrical component used in cars to control the power loads of certain components. In today's video, we will see how to test the operation of a 12-volt relay with a digital multimeter. A 12-volt relay uses a coil made up of terminals 85 and 86 for activation. Set the multimeter to resistance measurement and connect it to the terminal points. Apply a 12V voltage to the relay coil terminals; if the relay emits an audible click, it means it is functioning. If it does not activate, the coil is faulty. In such cases, the relay needs to be replaced.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
