How to Recharge Your Car Battery

Sometimes, your car may not start due to electrical issues, such as a flat battery. First, check that the terminals connecting the cables to the battery are properly connected and tight. If they are, you will need to recharge the battery. To do this, you will need jumper cables to create a bridge with another car's battery (so, you will need that car as well). Connect the red positive cable first to both cars with the engine and ignition off, then connect the negative cable. At this point, start the car with the charged battery and, after a few minutes, start the car with the flat battery. Once restarted, the vehicle should run for at least 15 minutes. If the battery does not recharge, you will need to replace it.
