In this video tutorial we will see how to disassemble the thermostatic valve of a car: the operation can change from car to car but mainly we will see the main steps to be able to disassemble it. We open the bonnet of the car and go to disconnect the radiator fluid hose which is usually held by a clamp: drain all the liquid into a container. At this point we are going to unscrew the screws or bolts of our thermostatic valve and extract it. The gasket found in the valve is extremely important: therefore when reassembling it, make sure it is put in the correct position to ensure its tightness.

Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD gearbox oil replacement

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
