How to Dismantle and Repair the Fuel Float in Your Car

This short video explains how to dismantle and repair the fuel float in your car if it is no longer functioning correctly. The fault may be due to oxidation of the float contacts. First, using a utility knife and a screwdriver, detach the end part of the float and pull it out. After dismantling your float, try to resolve the issue with the help of an electrical contact lubricant (the video used CRC 5-56). To check if the fault has been repaired, conduct a test with the appropriate tool. If the test fails, your float will need to be replaced.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
