To understand why there is no power, first, you need to know how a float pump works. As shown in the video, a traditional float has three conductors (you can replace it with a two-conductor float).

When the water level is insufficient, the float remains in an open contact position, preventing the pump from starting. If the water level is sufficient, the float closes the contact to allow the pump to operate.
