Disassembly of a Starter Motor

The first step when disassembling a starter motor is to remove the two long fixing screws located on the sides, then unscrew the 13 mm bolt a little higher up. At this point, remove the round cover with the brushes using a flat screwdriver (if the ignition is faulty, replace them as they loosen the clips). Disconnect the main housing and extract the central body inside. Unscrew the two screws of the cylinder, remove it, and proceed to unscrew the gears until you reach the main part, which is the toothed wheel that turns the crankshaft of the internal combustion engine.
