Removing the External Door Handle

Is the external door handle damaged? Here’s how to remove and replace the handle. Open the car door, then unscrew the screws on the plastic trim of the cover panel with a screwdriver. Unscrew all the screws, detach the plastic trim from the door, and unscrew the securing pins of the external handle (inside the door). Remove the door handle by hand. Take the new piece and compare it with the one you removed earlier; install it along with all the attached pieces. Check the operation of the handle.
