In this video, see how to remove and replace the gas struts on the boot, a very simple and quick operation valid for any car model that is equipped with them. After obtaining a long rod to support the boot, or assistance from another person, apply some penetrating spray to the joints of the strut and, using a small flat screwdriver, lift the metal clips as shown in the video. At this point, pull the joints and disengage them from the bodywork, then fit the replacement part following the same procedure.
