If you need to repair a tear or cut in the car hood, gather a needle kit, including one shaped like a crescent, elastic glue, and a liquid rubber sealant. Proceed by bringing the two edges of the cut together and, using the crescent-shaped needle and polyester thread, stitch the edges. Use the elastic glue in the gaps between the fabric edges and cover the top with liquid rubber to ensure continuity between the two edges and provide some sealing.
