Start your maintenance by thoroughly cleaning the roof, first by vacuuming it perfectly. Now prepare a mixture of water and neutral soap to wash it carefully with a soft brush, then rinse it with a low-pressure water jet. The roof will likely no longer be water-repellent. Use a wet vacuum to suck up the excess water, which will also remove any remaining dirt. Allow it to dry well, and you will be pleasantly surprised that the fabric looks like new. At this point, it is essential to apply a specific product to re-waterproof the roof. (The product is shown in the video). Now mask off the glass parts and the bodywork of the vehicle to prevent the product from damaging them. Spray the product generously and then spread it well with a brush so that the fabric absorbs it properly. Apply it with linear movements, without rushing. Now repeat the operation, just misting and allowing it to dry like this. Now you can - carefully - remove the masking tape and let it dry for at least 24 hours. You will achieve unparalleled water-repellency.
