The EPC light is a warning from the "Electronic Power Control" system that manages the engine's power supply. The EPC light can illuminate in various situations: while driving, during startup, or during acceleration, etc. The most common scenarios for an illuminated EPC light and their possible causes are: – stationary and the car won't start: possible issue with the glow plugs or fuel pressure; – illuminated while driving: likely error in the readings from the accelerator position/throttle body sensors or in the engine wiring; – illuminated during acceleration: generally linked to a faulty accelerator. However, only by taking the car to a service centre for a diagnosis can the problem be clarified.

How to Open a Stuck Boot on the Peugeot 407?

On the Peugeot 407, the boot may become stuck, possibly due to a problem with the control button or the lock actuator. In such cases, you can perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial. First, open the rear doors, then lower the seat back by operating the release lever. Next, go inside the boot, locate the lock, and manually operate it using a flathead screwdriver. The boot will then be free to open.
