In this video tutorial, see how to replace the ignition switch on an old model Typhoon scooter and similar models. If you have the frame already disassembled, it is easier to remove the fork as it will save time on this task; otherwise, proceed as follows: use a 2.5 mm Allen key to remove the piece holding the electrical contact in place; once unscrewed, simply pull it towards you and it will come off; set it aside. Now comes the more difficult part, as you need to act on a pin located inside a small hole; if the fork is removed, you just need to take off the steering lock; if you are doing this with the fork installed, it becomes trickier: use a screwdriver to enter the lower hole, press the pin, and pull out the entire switch. At this point, you can carry out the replacement.
