Replacing the Ignition Barrel

To replace the ignition barrel, first remove the screws holding the covers at the back of the steering wheel. Use a screwdriver and be patient to avoid breaking the plastic clips. You may also need to remove the side plastics to make removal easier. The barrel won't come out immediately; insert a long, rigid object to pull it out, a thin screwdriver can also be used. After that, you can pull out the old barrel without removing the housing. Next, insert the new ignition barrel and reassemble the plastics.
